Match Report: Ladies 4s 5th Oct

Yateley 0-3 Winchester Tigers

The ladies 4’s took to the pitch for their first match this season with some first time Yateley players mixing in with some existing members, against Winchester Tigers, who are known to be one of the strongest teams.

Yateley fought hard with some super saves from new goalie, Millie, who had never put a kit on before today, along with some excellent defending from Lianne, Vicky, Kate and Tracey.

There was some brilliant linking play and some super movement off the ball. We had many chances at goal, but unfortunately today we just couldn’t quite get the last finishing touch on. Winchester Tigers came at us strong, but we held our own, fighting all the way to the final whistle. We lost 3-0, but so much to be learnt from today and a super exciting team for the rest of the season ahead.
