Match Report: Ladies 3rd XI 5 March

Yateley 9-1 Maidenhead

In almost artic conditions the ladies 3’s started the game with the hope of a win after last weeks game.

The atmosphere was confident and the first half went well with a goal from Caroline to start the flurry. Soon after there were 3 goals from Hattie to finish the first half.

At half time, spirits were high and praise was given for the awesome press.

Helen was a bit chilly but none the less the mighty 3s went back out as if it was 0-0. Shortly after the break another goal was slotted in by Hattie, with Amber starting her winning streak only a minute later. The next goal came from an epic short corner routine with Clara slotting it perfectly for Sarah to smash it home to make it 7-0.

Another goal for the amazing Amber meant that Yateley became a little complacent and allowed a fast attack from Maidenhead resulting in a goal for the opposition.

No fear! Clara had the space and time to fire it home to seal an incredible 9-1 win for the Ladies 3s.

Special shout out to Caroline for scoring a birthday goal and Amber as MOM for her awesome running and goals.
