Unlucky in the sun...

Havant 5-2 Yateley

The ladies 2’s headed to Sunny Havant for their penultimate match of the season to try and get 3 points off the table leaders...

With the sun beaming and temps in the high teens the ladies very gracefully tried to catch some of the pitch watering whilst warming up to cool down...

Yateley started off very strong and managed to sweep one in the back of the net to go 1 up with a goal from Hats. The lead lasted 20 or so minutes and Unfortunately the home team came fighting back and managed to slip in 3 before the half time whistle.

Second half starting at 3-1, we knew we had to come out fighting!!

After an unplanned GK swap just before the the second half PB, Caty Salter took the reigns from Kate.

With the temperature rising and everyone getting hot and tired, the game slowed a little to start. Havant managed to get another one in, but we fought back hard and Clara made a great run down the left and smashed the ball in to make in 4-2.

Caty made some amazing saves, and the oppo only managed to squeeze another in before the full time whilst leaving us on 5-2.

Well played girls - you all worked your socks off and played your Hearts out..

Next week we take on Southampton at home for the re scheduled snow match, at 1200 so any supporters welcome!!
