What a way to start the season! ?

A strong first half saw Emily CA open the scoring after 20 minutes, before hitting the post shortly after. Our new midfielders Kaitlyn, Sophia & Romily worked tirelessly, while the new press caused problems throughout.

Helen produced a brilliant penalty-flick save to keep us ahead at half time! ?

The second half brought more pressure. Amber chased every ball hard, Emily T and Rachel controlled the midfield Emily CA grabbed her second goal after a great ball from Sophia B. Scarlet Runners pulled one back, but Kaitlyn restored our two-goal lead before Freya added a brilliant deflection from a short corner to make it 4–1! ?

Huge effort from the whole team, with Caz, Lianne & Abi solid at the back. ?
