Fleet and Ewshot grabbed the first goal from open play but Yateley didn’t let their heads drop and came back fighting, Hannah Merry equalized the score 1-1. Unfortunately Fleet and Ewshot came straight back and won a short corner and an amazing strike made the score 2-1. Yateley continued to work hard but Fleet and Ewshot managed to add another goal before half time leaving the score at 3-1. A good team talk with Skelly sent us into the second half with lots of things to improve on. The team worked really hard, putting in great tackles and keeping pressure on Fleet and Ewshot, backed up by some great saves by Millie in goal. A great second half performance saw the second half goalless. A great first game of the season with lots of things to work on.
