On a cold and rainy Sunday afternoon, 14 brave U14 girls travelled to Chichester for a league game.
With Eve back in goal and Caty as match captain, the girls played a tough defensive game. Three solidly struck short corners from oppo CH, saw the home team race into an early lead in the first quarter. However, Yateley stepped up, showing good hockey skills and and teamwork, to give us a goal in before the first quarter whistle.
As soon as Yateley started passing and moving the ball, they immediately had an Impact on the game, creating good opportunities and useful space. The home team kept the lead scoring 9 goals to Yateley's 3 goals, scored by Caroline, Amy and Hattie Miles.
Be loud and proud of our U14 team, they did not waiver under attack and continue to improve in all areas. Well played girls.
