Yateley 4s got back to winning ways against a spirited Fleet & Ewshott. It was Fleet who started the brighter, belying their low league status, and taking an early lead with a turn and shot from the top of the D. Both sides were more interested in attacking than defending, and it took a wonder save from Dan Bilton at a short corner to keep Yateley in the game. As the first half went on however Yateley began to build some pressure, and a good drive down the right from Jon Underwood created a chance for Jason Kean to place the ball past the sprawling Fleet keeper. A similar move shortly after, but this time Darren Skinner as provider, put Yateley into the lead with Jason Kean’s 25th of the season. Just before half-time, Kean then turned provider as he slipped through Darren Skinner who accelerated past the Fleet defence and finished in style. In the 2nd half Yateley dominated but couldn’t find another goal due to a mix of good keeping and poor finishing.
