On an sunny but cool day Yateley travelled to reading in the hope dousing the phoenix ashes.

Yateley started well with several circle entries, they were soon ahead following a nice move from skinner feeding brimble at top of the d, a hard pass in was beautiful deflected into the top corner by Jacob. Yateley continued to press and went close several times and on another day with a little more composure and luck the game could have been over early. Just before the break Yateley finally grabbed a second from Brimbles nice reverse finish from A nice pass into the circle from Byron.

Following the halftime sweets Yateley were quickly back on the attack with Josh going close several times. Yateley then had to soak up some pressure from Phoenix with some good saves and strong defence Yateley held firm. With 15 minutes to go yateley finally killed the game with a 3rd and 2nd for Brimble who latched on to a throw ball from Andy De Lange and finished smartly. A 4th came shortly later with a nice move was finished at the back post by Brimble completing the hatrick. Andy added the icing on the cake with a 5th just before the final whistle with a lovely low strike intonthe corner.

The games finished 5-0. An excellent performance from front to back and a well earned 3 points to keep yateley 3rds in with a chance of top 3.
