The Men's 3s came out on top in a classic against Henley 4s to register their first win of the season.

Starting with a slightly older team than the previous week (1 extra adult), it was the visitors who started brightly and were 2-0 up in no time. However Yateley refused to let their heads drop, and they gradually played themselves into the game.

After creating a few half chances, Cameron Foan scored with a brilliant reverse stick strike into the bottom left hand corner, after the goal keeper had saved an initial strike from a short corner. Kevin Manning then scored the equaliser, going round the goalkeeper after a good pass from Mackenzie Capaldi. Both teams had chances to take the lead, however the scores were level at the break.

The start of the second half was a see-saw affair - both teams created chances, but it was Henley who scored first, scoring from a short corner after around 10 minutes. However from the restart, Kevin Manning and Louis Farrell caught the opposition napping; attacking directly as a pair from centre line, with Louis scoring from a fantastic strike 30-odd seconds after Henley had scored.

Yateley then were awarded a penalty flick after a Henley defender decided to play football on the goal line, with the Henley keeper beaten (he even tried to argue that it wasn't a flick!). Kevin Manning unfortunately hit the post from the flick (earning him DoD unanimously!) before Henley scored yet again from a short corner.

After coming back twice before, Yateley had the belief we come up back again and were by far the better team in the final third of the game. Attacking often in numbers Yateley created chance after chance. It was Cameron Foan who finally equalised from Yateley again, after a slip from Kevin Manning during a short corner. Kevin Manning then made some amends by scoring five minutes later, after another brilliant pass from Mackenzie Capaldi, which resulted in Yateley taking the lead for the first time. Mackenzie Capaldi then completed the scoring two minutes later with another brilliant strike from the top of the D.

The crazy game finished 6-4 in Yateley's favour after being behind three times during the match. Unlike the DoD vote, the MoM vote was split four ways between Ben Hopper, Mackenzie Capaldi, Callum Massey and Dave Sumter.
