Yateley 1-0 Fareham

It was a wet and miserable day to begin the warm up, cold as it was the mens YHC 1st XI team stepped onto the field knowing the changes they needed to make coming from the previous loss ,and had the fire in their hearts to recover their winning form they carried through from the start of the season.

Yateley started the game strong with great possession, play using the defensive line to create space with amazing transfers allowing the midfield time to pass and carry out yateleys strategy ,and work thier way up the field. Yateleys forwards using expert skills to win a penalty corner that was narrowly missed ,but yateley kept thier determination and managed to win another and resulted in a beautiful bottom corner drag flick from Liam Roper returning from a long period away from Yateley blasting the ball past the keeper to make the score 1-0

Keeping thier intensity managed to hold thier ground and stop the offensive pressure of the fareham team keeping the score at one for yateley. As the final whistle blows yateley lined up for the last short corner everyone by the opposition semi circle already celebrating thier well deserved win and unfortunately the drag flick goes wide but yateley are still delighted to come away with the win
