Pre-hab is the Physical conditioning of an athlete performed to prevent injury and optimize performance.

It normally follows a detailed consultation between athlete and Physiotherapist, in which the athlete's musculoskeletal strength and weakness are identified and related to their play.

A comprehensive program of exercises to eliminate weaknesses and promote Performance is devised, with a plan to implement them and reduce the chance of injury and improve on-pitch performance.
