The pushback starts high intensity and that resulted in some cards being thrown around as stick tackles from both sides result in players from both sides being sent off.

Unfortunately Petersfield opens the scoring with a well-played short corner finding the bottom corner of the net. A Yateley injury (requiring stitches) meant we lost a key defender.

Further on in the game we replied with a broken down short corner finding Darren Collins.... sending a ball clean through to Dan Jones to put it in the goal and even the score.

As the half time whistle goes out, coach Tom highlights what it is that we need to improve upon and we set into the next half with our heads held high and ready to come back and use what we learnt in the next half.

We improve on the previous half, but it wasn’t enough to stop Petersfield scoring one more to make the score 1-2. Yateley were given a golden opportunity with a penalty flick but failed to convert, just putting it wide of the post. A short corner was given as the final whistle blew, despite 3 attempts we still couldn’t get one in the net.
