A new team of awesome 4’s played well against a tough and mostly experienced Basingstoke side. Comments were made by the Basingstoke coach about how well the more experienced Yateley players helped and encouraged the younger or less experienced, showing what an amazing and supportive team we have.

Yateley fought hard and had some super chances on the Basingstoke goal. Basingstoke, with their speed and experience, came at Yateley hard with our defence. Caty stopped the majority of strikes, but they managed to score 5 against Yateley’s 2. A loss in regards to the scoreline for Yateley but a huge amount of positives to come from the game. Onwards and upwards

Man of the match went to Rachel and Maddy for brilliant play and never giving up.

DOD went to Caty for trying to do gymnastics in a keepers kit and for asking who her own jumper belonged to!!
