We’re thrilled to announce a fantastic new addition to the Yateley Hockey Club coaching team —hellooo Jackie!!
Jackie is a player-turned-coach, having competed at national level for schools and colleges in South Africa and regional level in the UK, before moving into coaching. She has built a wealth of experience and success at both senior and junior levels and her coaching journey has taken her through club, county, and regional levels. We’re proud to welcome her to the Yateley HC family where she’ll cover Tuesday coaching for juniors & L1/2s, working closely with Player-Coach for L3/4s, Nicki Smith. She’ll also be present all day on match days to Coach L1s & all other Ladies teams as timings permit.
Known for her high energy, positivity, and strong belief in the power of team ethos, Jackie is passionate about developing players and building cohesive, competitive teams. She’s keen to see our players grow in skill and confidence, and is excited to help the ladies’ section play fabulous, competitive hockey this season and beyond.
In her own words :
“I’m truly excited to be part of this wonderful, family-oriented club. Together we’ll nurture talent, bring the best out in our players and grow stronger as a united team. Looking forward to a bright future of development, dedication and success”
As you can see, Jackie can’t wait to get started and meet everyone; at Summer matches and Mixed hockey…. stay tuned for details on summer & pre-season sessions and opportunities to connect with her soon!
Let’s all give Jackie our very warm Yateley welcome!
