...what a night it was....!

Having just about recovered from the excesses of dancing and chatting (and the lovely G&T warmer on the way over - thanks WR!), a quick wrap up on a wonderful evening of celebrations.

The evening kicked off with much activity at the bar - amongst back-slapping and reunion hugs all round - it had only be a few short weeks but enough time for the club members hearts to have grown fonder! Everyone looked really glammed up with gorgeous hair, nails and make-up....the girls looked pretty cool too ;-p....we were ready to roll!

Foley delighted the audience with a (shorter) speech than last year...we weren't so sure after the first 10 mins; maybe she'd just written it in smaller font to fit more on the page. BUT, huge thanks to all those volunteers who have helped throughout the season and a call-out for others to join the fun as well. Big thanks to Tom who has made a real impact to the club this season.

Our cutest club captain couple then took on the honours to run through the end of season awards. CONGRATULATIONS to all, so very well deserved!

To be honest I can't really report much on the rest of the evening, but there was a brilliant fitness regime going on the dance floor and occasional sprints to the bar - SBAB was involved at some stage, which I definitely blame Hils for.
Happy to receive votes for Player of the Evening....Ds of the Eve probably goes to Team Hook who sat in the wrong taxi for an awkwardly long time before realising!

It's been a cracker.....catch up with you all during the summer at Mixed or Ladies or any other reason we can think of!!!
