A solid start to the season from the Red Army scoring an early goal (Anna) and dominating much of the play. Only a moments lack of concentration mid way through the first half allowed Alton their only shot on goal to get beyond the defensive line and sneak in a crafty goal.

Yateley worked the press well denying any forward passing from free hits with Lauren and Flippa dealing with any break away's.

Some simple short passes allowed the midfield to dominate the game with KJ and Na putting in a good shift to get the play into the final third. The forwards made penetrating runs to enter Alton's D on countless occasions only some sublime saves from Alton's keeper stopped the score being a double digit affair.

The winning goal came from a well worked penalty corner between Craston and KJ who placed the ball perfectly out of the reach of the diving goalkeeper.
