The first half saw a flurry of action, with Yateley awarded numerous short corners. Amidst the chaos, a goal was initially awarded, only to be overturned after deliberation among the umpires and teams, leading to a penalty flick.

Becks courageously stepped up to take the flick, unfortunately the opposition goalkeeper got in the way. Undeterred, Yateley continued to press hard, and just before halftime, they capitalized on another short corner opportunity. A seamless execution saw Megan inject the ball, leading to a to me, to you chuckle between Nicki and Emily, culminating in Nicki slotting home the second goal.

After the break, Yateley regrouped, emphasizing the importance of maintaining their style of play and keeping the communication flowing. Despite Sonning's breaks, Yateley's defensive line, anchored by Carole, Nicki, and Flippa, remained resolute, with Zara delivering crucial clearances to thwart any potential threats.
