After being snowed off last week the Ladies 1s were raring to go against Gosport. The match got off to a nervous start but with some great attacking play, the first goal soon went in. The pressure from Yateley continued and they dominated the game. By half-time they were 3-0 up but the scoreline didn't reflect the dozens of opportunities created from some slick passing and a number of attacks.

In the second-half it was only a matter of time and patience before the next goals came. And there would have been plenty more apart from the body saves from the Gosport defence on the line. Yateley were awarded a flick, plenty more short corners but Gosport gave everything and defended well - there were lots of defensive clearances from their goal line preventing the number of goals increasing. With 15 minutes to go Yateley took the decision to play with 11 outfield players to give their GK, Nicki, a rest! (She didn't touch the ball once during the entire game!).

With goals from Kealey, Jen, Emma, Fran, Gemma and two from Lauren the final score was 7-0.

With man of the match going to Lauren - who had a double winner with DoD too, it was a great team effort.
