Portsmouth & Southsea 6-3 Yateley
On the back of a running streak, the Ladies 1s went into the game with heads held high and tried to implement training tactics fom the start. Unfortunately the sandy, slow pitch hampered efforts. After going 1-0 down, the team fought back to equalise with a goal from Mel but by half-time we were 2-1 down.

Play was aggressive from the opposition but the team re-grouped at half-time. The ladies upped their efforts and scored soon after play started with a goal from Becks.

The ladies kept battling but went down again before Gemma scored from a short corner. After fighting hard, and many decisions not going our way, the game ended with a 6-3 defeat.

Time to train hard for next week and come back fighting. Watch out Isle of Wight!!
