Yateley 2-1 Slough Swifts

The game is under way and its sloughs push back. Yateley put Slough under pressure and were looking comfortable in the opening stages of the first half.

Yateley won the ball on the half way line and started a fast build up passing it to Callum Coxhead who squared it to Kevin Manning who took his time to put it in the back of the net for Yateley to be 1-0 up.

The second half starts and Yateley started sloppy giving the ball away too easily and were eventually punished by Slough’s equalizer . Shortly after Yateley regained the lead by Callum Coxhead getting to the ball before the keeper and slotting it into the far post. Yateley then had to defend resolutely to maintain their lead to put them 2nd on goal difference in the table.

Final score 2-1 Yateley.

MOM goes to Christopher Wright for a beautiful performance and especially running back and forth to keep Yateley’s lead.

DOD went to Callum Coxhead for sprinting into the fence just before half time.
