Windsor 3-5 Yateley

And we are off! Yateley take the ball to start the game, but Windsor gain possession early in the game and score. 1 goal down early in the game, but all the boys had their heads up, ready to get back in. Close after Windsor’s goal, Sam Qua manages to slot one in, from a great pass from Chris. Shortly after, Oliver Webster gets the ball, and passes it to Sam who again manages to take it pass the defenders, and score!

2-1 up at half time, and the boys were feeling strong. Yateley get a short corner, and Willy gets the ball, and hits it straight into the corner of the goal! 3-1 to Yateley, and everyone was feeling great. However, shortly after, Windsor get the ball and score another goal, bringing the score up to 3-2. All the lads knew they needed to put the pressure on again, and indeed they did. Callum Coxhead makes a run with the ball, and passes it to Sam, who manages to deflect it to the back of the net, bringing Yateley up to a 2 goal lead, making the score 4-2. Windsor follow up Yateley’s goal with a goal of their own, but near the end of the game, Callum Coxhead has a shot, and Sam deflects it into the net, bringing the team to 5-3. Final whistle blows, and the boys celebrate, with an excellent game from everyone.

Man of the match goes to Sam Qua, who scored a total of 4 great goals for the team. Well played to all the boys today, and lets hope to keep our place at the top of the table!
