A mixed starting line up caused an unsettled start for Yateley, with Andover soon drawing first blood. Not wanting to be on the back foot for long, the 2s soon equalised.

In what seemed like a moment of deja vu, Andover were on the break again to slot another past Yateley, who were quick to react yet again, bringing to score to 2-2.

After a heated start, Yateley soon settled into the game, working together as a unit to pile on the pressure. A collaborative effort led to goals from Caty, Jen, JGJ, Clara and Nat to take a lead of 7-2 at half time.

The second half saw an improved performance from the Home side, however Yateley still demonstrated their hockey prowess, with another two goals from Hattie and Alice, making the final score 9-2.

Overall a very positive performance from the Yateley side as we head into our first league fixtures next week.
