Ladies 1st team’s National champion

In the middle of April, ladies 1st XI captain, Jenny Cornelius-Green attended the South Over 40 hockey trials at Basingstoke HC.

She was successfully selected to represent the Region at the National Championships which took place on 19th & 20th May at Cannock HC.

The South team played 5 matches, winning 4 and drawing 1 - an unbeaten record... crowned National Champions ...Wowza!!

Jenny was integral to this team playing CB throughout the matches. This is a huge achievement for her as a player as the vast majority of the team are still playing regional level hockey or higher for their clubs. It also puts Yateley on the map!
