We’re DEEeelighted to announce Yateley Hockey Club’s new (and first!) Director of Coaching. Tom McLean started as a Yateley boy playing Men’s 1XI a few years ago, is excited to be back, and looking forward to the new challenges this season will bring.

Tom has been a full time hockey coach for over 6 years, and splits his time between his school, county, junior sections and now us! He is one of Surrey Hockey’s leading coaches, taking his Academy team within the top 3 of the South County Championships each year. Many of his players have made it through the junior pathway to Performance Center, and many seniors playing National League hockey, and one now playing England U21s. His previous club he took the 1XI to promotion 2 years in a row, and is hoping he can bring this success to our Men’s and Ladies 1XI teams, to take them back into South League.

We can’t wait to get cracking with the new season.... WELCOME
