Junior Policies
Yateley Hockey Club is committed to the highest standards of Child Protection and Coaching Good Practice. The club provides a safe environment for young people to develop from complete beginners to young adults playing the sport at Junior County and adult First Team standard.
All volunteers working with young people are required to hold an Enhanced Disclosure from the Criminal Records Bureau. The club encourages and supports all coaches to gain formal qualifications and provides access to a variety of public courses for the personal development of coaches.

Information for Players and Parents
The documents below can be viewed or downloaded. Each player receives these documents at the start of each season.
Information for Junior Volunteers and Adult Team Captains
This information and documentation is required at all coaching sessions and matches for juniors, and at all coaching sessions and matches where a junior is participating as part of an adult team.
Emergency Contacts and Medical Conditions for all Junior Players are maintained and circulated by the Junior Coordinator.
Volunteer Terms of Reference and Codes of Conduct
All volunteers agree to undertake one or more roles within the club, each with specific terms of reference that ensure the safe conduct of training, matches and transport. Each volunteer signs a YHC Volunteer Agreement.
Management and Policies
The YHC Junior Committee is responsible for the management of all aspects of junior hockey and the involvement of junior players. All volunteers working with the juniors are members of the committee, which reports the Club Executive Committee through the Junior Coordinator.
